A useful transfer comparison starts with one clearly described journey. A headline fare means little if one offer ends at a bus station and another takes you to your hotel. Use this checklist before choosing a service.

Define the actual journey
Write the airport name and code, terminal if relevant, destination address, date and local pickup time. An airport and its nearby city are different pickup points. A city centre and a coastal airport are different destinations.
For arrivals, distinguish flight landing time from the time you expect to meet the driver. Ask how delays, baggage collection and waiting are handled; do not assume a flight number automatically includes unlimited waiting.
Compare the same vehicle and price basis
- Number of adults and children, child-seat requirements and the child’s relevant size information.
- Number and size of suitcases; include a stroller, wheelchair or sports equipment.
- Private car versus a shared seat, and one-way versus a return with waiting.
- Total agreed price and currency, payment method, included waiting, parking and any planned stops.
Compare the total for your travelling party. A per-seat figure and a whole-car figure answer different questions. Ask the provider to confirm that both passengers and luggage fit the proposed vehicle.
Separate a request from a confirmed booking
Keep the written confirmation of the provider, pickup point and time, journey, vehicle requirements, agreed price and contact method. A “request received” notice may only acknowledge a submission. Read the service’s own definition of confirmation.
Check cancellation and change conditions before paying or relying on the ride. Save the terms that apply to your booking and ask who to contact if the meeting point or flight changes.
A request you can adapt
Replace the brackets before sending this to your chosen provider. Do not put passport numbers or payment-card information into a general quote request.
Hello. Please quote a private transfer: From: [airport/code and terminal] To: [destination address] Date and local pickup time: [date/time] Flight: [number, if relevant] Passengers: [adults/children] Luggage and equipment: [details] Special requirements: [child seat/accessibility] Journey: [one-way/return, waiting and stops] Please confirm the vehicle, total price/currency, payment, waiting policy, cancellation terms and how the booking becomes confirmed.
Check which booking process you are using
Georgian Bus’s FAQ distinguishes buying a scheduled ticket from arranging a private transfer. A shared seat, a private car and a sightseeing day are different purchases. Use the process and confirmation conditions for the product you actually want.

Check a current provider offer
For Georgia, OrbiTrip is one option to investigate alongside other services that fit your journey. Its published passenger terms describe a request and explicit confirmation as different stages. This is a provider-specific example, not a promise that every service uses the same process.
